Two second-year medical students drowned in Tighra Dam near Gwalior on Saturday. A search operation is ongoing for the second student, officials stated. The incident occurred when a group of eight students from Gajra Raja Medical College visited the dam. According to the college dean, RKS Dhakad, the students went into the water where it deepens abruptly, leading to the mishap. Police received information around 6:30 PM on Friday, and an SDRF team was deployed for the search. One body, identified as Gopal Agarwal, has been recovered, while efforts continue to find the second student.
