‘Unacceptable’: Grave concerns mount over USS Abraham Lincoln conditions

​News24 Political Analyst Joe Siracusa says the conditions on board the USS Abraham Lincoln are “frankly unacceptable”. “Nine months in one place would drive anybody crazy,” Mr Siracusa told News24. ​“They live in tight quarters. ​“The morale has collapsed, and I know they were a little short on food and the rest of it, and frankly that’s unacceptable. ​“If we can’t take care of our troops in the field, we’re in a hell of a lot of trouble.”
