UK welfare system’s role in migration discussed

Academic Ralph Schoellhammer discusses the migration pull factors for the UK as the welfare debate comes under the spotlight. “This has been gaslighting by the usual academics who try to build this story,” Mr Schoellhammer told News24 host Rita Panahi. “The story that the social system, the welfare system, has nothing to do with migration, which is completely absurd because even the human traffickers- this is their promotional material, they say- we are going to traffic you to Germany because here is what you get.”
