‘They want to shut everybody up’: Cuba’s communist government condemned

Former Pentagon press secretary and Navy Captain Morgan Murphy praises US Ambassador to the United Nations Michael Waltz for confronting a Cuban delegate and criticises Cuba's treatment of journalists and political opposition. “They want to shut everybody up, Samara. That is their trademark rule,” Mr Murphy told News24 host Samara Gill. “You know, in Cuba, they just throw you in prison and toss the key and they get rid of journalists they don't like, and they get rid of other opposition parties they don't like, and they get rid of people that don't serve the cause. “I'm so proud of Mike Walz. What a great job he did standing up for America, standing up for American values, standing up for the rule of law.”
