Spain hits back at Italy with border controls as migration row escalates

Spain has imposed border controls on travellers arriving from Italy for a month. The move is in retaliation for Rome introducing similar measures a week ago, after more than 70,000 migrants crossed the border from Morocco into the Spanish city of Ceuta. US President Donald Trump weighed in on the Ceuta crisis, stating, “You have to stop illegal immigration into Europe”.
