Republicans see early voting surge in Texas ahead of midterms

Former Pentagon press secretary and Navy Captain Morgan Murphy says early voting numbers in Texas are encouraging for Republicans, with turnout approaching levels seen in the 2024 election. “I think it's a fight and we're seeing some early good news for Republicans out of Texas,” Mr Murphy told News24 host Samara Gill. “They are voting early in waves. “We didn't see anything like it in 2022. They're voting near records of 2024.”
