Palestinian flags at French riots ‘symbolise the anti-Western movement’

Political Theorist and Substacker Ralph Schoellhammer argues that the Palestinian flag has become a symbol of anti-Western sentiment among sections of the European left, rather than solely support for Palestinians. “For the largest part, the left in Western Europe or within the West has become a reservoir of anti -Western sentiment,” Mr Schoellhammer told News24 host Samara Gill. “This is the reason why I see, for example, the Palestinian flag at these protests. “This is not because they care so much about Palestine but they understand that it is the symbol of the anti -Western movement.”
