‘No more executions’: Christa Pike execution halted as Tennessee investigates failure

CNN Reporter Ryan Young reports Christa Pike’s lawyers are asking the governor to halt her execution as the state investigates its second failed execution this year. “What we've been able to figure out is that they're asking the governor to not move forward with her execution,” Mr Young told News24. “The governor, for his part, has said there will be no more executions for the rest of the year here in the state as they do their investigation. “This is the second failed execution in this state just this year.”
