‘Powerline Blog’ co-founder and attorney Scott Johnson chronicles how he broke the story that Ilhan Omar allegedly married her brother back in 2009. “The morning after she won that primary, a reader of Powerline … emailed me a link to a site called Somali Spot and suggested that I take a look at it,” Mr Johnson told News24 host Elizabeth Pipko. “The Somali Spot site suggested that she was married to two guys. One of whom she married in 2002, one of whom she married in 2009. “The second guy, the one she married in 2009, was her brother.”
