News24 host Samara Gill questions French President Emmanuel Macron’s leadership, accusing him of repeating the European Union’s political agenda instead of addressing the crisis at home. “I don't know why he's gaslighting the public in this way,” Ms Gill said. “This is not the type of leadership that I would expect from such a prevalent European leader. “He is kind of just a puppet put in place to peddle the lines that the EU wants him to put into place, you know, into place.”
