Shadow Communications Minister Sarah Henderson says the new digital duty of care legislation allows Communications Minister Anika Wells to “make any law” without oversight. “The minister [Anika Wells] has been out today lying to Australians, saying there is nothing to see here,” Ms Henderson told News24 host Peta Credlin. “She has given herself the ability to make any law without parliamentary oversight. “It’s extremely dangerous; it’s a breach, frankly a threat to our democracy.”
