Albanese government uses the topic of AI to distract Aussies from 'actual problems'

News24 host James Macpherson says AI has given the Albanese government “something to talk about” other than “all the problems” Australians currently face. “AI is the greatest thing that’s happened to this government because it's given them something to talk about other than all the problems in our country,” Mr Macpherson said. “It's allowed them to completely change the subject, which they have done very evidently over the last couple of weeks. “All of a sudden, AI has dominated the conversation because they’d rather not talk about the mess they’re making of the country.”
