Saudi Arabia ‘not far away’ from signing up to the Abraham Accords

News24 Defence Analyst Peter Jennings says the “broader direction” of what's happening in the Middle East is that more countries are looking to “support Israel”. “We’re not that far away from the Saudis signing up to the Abraham Accords with the Israelis,” Mr Jennings said. “That’s something that actually led Hamas to engage in its attack on Israel in October 7. “Most Arabian countries realise that, in fact, Israel is not their strategic problem; Iran is the bigger problem to the security of the region.”
