‘A dangerous slippery slope’: Birmingham council slammed over crackdown on patriotic flags
Sky News AustraliaNews Corp Correspondent Sophie Elsworth says activist group Raise the Colours is fighting a council injunction aimed at stopping the display of thousands of British flags. “This group, Raise the Colours, is fighting an injunction from the council, which is seeking to stop them putting up these flags on lampposts and along roads and highways,” Ms Elsworth told News24 host Peta Credlin. “They’re really just trying to be patriotic. “I think this is a slippery slope and a dangerous one that they’re going down.”
