Singapore's long-delayed fourth egg farm to start production in 2028

Singapore's fourth and newest egg farm will eventually breed and hatch its own egg-laying chickens locally. DoMo Farm in Lim Chu Kang will use AI to monitor the health of its chickens. Singapore consumed over 2.2 billion eggs last year. With the new farm, locally produced eggs are expected to meet 50% of Singapore's demand, up from around a third. The first batches are expected to hit store shelves in 2028. The project broke ground after plans were pushed back twice. Natalie Ong reports.
