Asian Games 2026: Singapore's Loh Kean Yew misses out on badminton gold

Singapore's wait for an Asian Games badminton gold goes on, after Loh Kean Yew lost to Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn in the men's singles final. But his silver earned Singapore's second-ever badminton medal at the Asiad. Loh has only won twice in his previous 10 matches against Kunlavut. The last time Singapore made the Asian Games podium in badminton was 20 years ago in Doha, where the women's team took bronze. Alif Amsyar reports from Aichi, Japan.
