S$112m to be committed into Built Environment, with rejuvenation a key focus

S$112m will be committed to the Built Environment sector to improve areas such as safer and more productive demolition methods, as well as smarter ways to maintain buildings. The National Development Ministry says these will help to rejuvenate more parts of the city and address ageing buildings. The amount is part of a five-year plan in the next phase of research and innovation in the industry. Natalie Ong reports.
