PM Wong, Chan Chun Sing to address salary review of political office holders in Parliament

A salary review for Singapore political office holders and Members of Parliament will come under the spotlight when Parliament sits on Sep 8. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Coordinating Minister for Public Services Chan Chun Sing will be delivering ministerial statements on the topic. They are responding to a review by an independent committee set up to look into the salaries of political office holders. CNA speaks to Associate Professor Eugene Tan from the School of Law at Singapore Management University, who gives his take on political salaries.
