Learning the Malay language: Trainer introduces advance classes; tuition centre sees growing demand

At least one Malay language trainer has started introducing more advanced classes, generally for non-native speakers, this year. A tuition centre is also reporting growing demand among younger learners. During his National Day Rally Speech last month, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said that given the country's location in this region, it would be valuable for Singaporeans to learn the language and better appreciate its culture.
