The Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) considered both student testimony and technical evidence in its investigation into reported discrepancies in the GCE O-Level English oral examinations and did not prioritise one over the other, said Senior Minister of State for Education Janil Puthucheary in parliament on Wednesday (Aug 5). He also rejected Workers' Party MP Jamus Lim's description of "collective hallucination" among affected students.
