An avalanche recently struck Glacier No. 2 on Muztagh Ata in Akto County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Several tourists captured the scene on their phones. The avalanche occurred in an uninhabited area far from major roads, with no casualties or property damage, according to the local fire department. Large amounts of snow and ice cascaded down the mountain, sending a huge cloud of snow and ice debris rushing through the valley. The main peak of Muztagh Ata stands at an elevation of 7,546 meters and has been covered in snow and glaciers for millions of years. Glacier No. 2 is a high-risk area not open to the public, and local authorities have warned against unauthorized entry or any activities that pose safety risks. šŗ Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:š https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDmcr2uuto8_DL2jg š Download our APP on Apple Store (iOS): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cctvnews-app/id922456579?l=zh&ls=1&mt=8 Download our APP on Google Play (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imib.cctv For more: https://www.cgtn.com/video Most watched videos: Impossible Challenge: 30 seconds to count banknotes BLINDFOLDED https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmP_Ybj-jws Impossible Challenge: Gymnastics Boy Arat Hosseini from Iran! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sxX--U4c8w Impossible Challenge: How to calm babies in 5 seconds? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kR3q9sXM7WA
