Heavy rains brought by Typhoon Saudel triggered a mudslide in Suichuan County, east China's Jiangxi Province, on September 5, prompting a major emergency response. During the rescue, a member of the People's Armed Police Force carrying a resident became trapped in thick mud. When it mattered most, his comrade crouched down, using his thigh as a human bridge to provide leverage and help him break free.
