B’Tselem report accuses Israel of systematic dismantling of Palestinian life

A new report by Israeli rights group B’Tselem, titled “The Elimination Project,” examines what it describes as the systematic dismantling of Palestinian collective life in the occupied West Bank. Correspondent Nida Ibrahim reports from Al Taybeh on the report’s allegations, which identify violence, movement restrictions, economic strangulation, institutional destruction and land seizure as key methods. B’Tselem characterises these practices as ethnic cleansing. The report also follows Palestinian journalist Wahaj Bani Moufleh, who documents the realities of life under military occupation while facing threats of arrest and violence.
