Thousands of people fleeing intensified fighting in Yemen are arriving in Djibouti, placing growing pressure on local authorities and refugee services. Correspondent Mohammed Taha Tawakul reports from a school-turned-refugee centre in Djibouti City, where around 3,000 displaced people have arrived, many by boat. Most of those seeking safety are women and children escaping the escalating violence. The humanitarian situation is deteriorating as international aid coordination remains limited, leaving the UN Refugee Agency heavily reliant on assistance from local Djiboutian authorities.
