Ukrainian drones kill five in Russia's Rostov region

Ukrainian drones killed five people, including a child, in Rostov-on-Don in an overnight attack, according to regional governor Yuri Slyusar. The attacks also damaged apartment blocks, warehouses, and a homeless shelter. Slyusar stated that air defense forces intercepted approximately 50 drones over the region. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy confirmed that Ukrainian forces had struck a Russian export terminal in the Rostov region, as well as oil facilities in other regions. The incidents follow a recent escalation of military activity in and around the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
