Ukraine plans 100,000 jobs for veterans

The Prime Minister highlighted the exceptional skills and discipline veterans possess, forged during wartime, and stated the government's intention to channel this experience into civilian roles within public service, business, and administration.

Ukraine currently has an estimated 1.5 million veterans, with nearly a million active-duty personnel. However, the country lacks a comprehensive, unified support system for them. Koretskyi stressed that a key objective is to standardize more than half of veteran services by 2027, ensuring that at least 80% of communities have a clear support mechanism in place. He underscored the importance of veterans receiving consistent support regardless of their location or municipality.
