Ukraine launches database of Russian weapons for allies

Ukraine has established a new database, named TrophyLab, to share detailed technical information and vulnerabilities of captured Russian weapons with its international allies. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the initiative on June 19, stating that the secure platform will grant allied governments, laboratories, and defense manufacturers access to crucial data, enabling them to develop countermeasures more rapidly.

Fedorov emphasized that the knowledge gained from analyzing enemy technology, such as missiles and drones, will be used to defend democracy. This move aligns with Ukraine's broader strategy of leveraging its battlefield experience to showcase its military technological advantages and foster international defense cooperation.

In parallel, Ukraine continues to strengthen its defense capabilities through international partnerships. The Brave France initiative, announced on June 17, involves a 20 million euro ($23 million) collaboration between Ukrainian and French defense companies focused on developing advanced missiles, unmanned systems, and counter-air technologies. Furthermore, Ukraine has engaged with Gulf countries, deploying military experts to assist in downing Iranian-made Shahed drones in exchange for fuel and similar drone technology, demonstrating a multi-faceted approach to enhancing its defense posture.
