STOCKHOLM, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Sweden's parliament speaker announced on Thursday that lawmakers will vote on Centre Party leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist for prime minister on Tuesday. Thand Ringqvist had previously stated she could not secure a majority. The last election resulted in the centre-left bloc securing 176 of 349 seats, but the opposition parties do not agree on the composition of a new government. Thand Ringqvist abandoned an attempt to forge a centrist coalition on Monday. Lawmakers rejected Social Democrats leader Magdalena Andersson's bid to form a minority cabinet on October 15. If Thand Ringqvist fails in the vote, the speaker will ask Moderates leader Ulf Kristersson to attempt to form a government, though there is little indication he would be able to secure a majority.
