The court heard that prompt medical attention prevented lasting injury. Two days prior to this incident, Rudakubana allegedly threatened to "soak" a female officer with an "unknown liquid" if she did not pass him a newspaper, though no damage was caused.
Further allegations include Rudakubana punching a male officer on October 28, 2025, after being challenged when he attempted to walk past officers who were checking if he had taken medication. In June of last year, Rudakubana was also found to have sharpened stone shards, seemingly prised from his cell floor, which were stuck to a shelving unit. He claimed he was keeping them for self-defense.
