Société Générale is implementing a series of leadership changes within its global markets division, affecting its UK and Americas operations. Salim Nemouchi is relocating to London to assume the role of head of global markets UK, succeeding Albert Loo. He will also continue in his position as global head of prime services.
In the Americas, Natasha Dadlani and Stéphane Dahome have been appointed as co-heads of the equities business. These appointments are slated to take effect in November, pending regulatory approval.
Further strengthening the bank's global markets activities, Francisco Oliveira has been hired as co-head of global markets and head of fixed income and currencies (FIC). Oliveira, who previously spent over 20 years at BNP Paribas, will report to Anne-Christine Champion and Alexandre Fleury, co-heads of global banking and investor solutions (GBIS). He will be based in London and will be part of the Group management committee and the GBIS executive committee.
Sylvain Cartier has been appointed head of global markets for the Americas, effective January 1, 2025. He will relocate from Paris to New York and will report locally to Stephane About, CEO for Societe Generale Americas, and globally to Oliveira and Mustapha. Mohamed Braham has been appointed deputy head of FIC, effective January 6, and will report to Oliveira and Mustapha.
