Russian attacks across Ukraine on Sunday, June 28, 2026, resulted in at least four fatalities and numerous injuries, according to regional officials. In the southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia, two people were killed and 16 others were injured, Governor Ivan Fedorov reported. Images shared by Fedorov depicted ablaze buildings and neighborhood destruction.
Further north, in the Kharkiv region, a missile strike on the town of Zmiiv claimed one life and injured eight individuals, including two children, stated Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov. The Kharkiv region police also confirmed the death of an officer who was coordinating resident evacuations in a community further north.
