Pope Leo warns migrant traffickers to repent or face hell

He stated that traffickers would be held accountable before divine justice, urging them to seek truth, justice, and conversion while there is still time. The Pope's actions, including throwing flowers into the sea at a port known as the 'Dock of Shame,' echoed Pope Francis's consistent advocacy on migration issues.

Pope Leo's return to Rome was delayed after his plane experienced a technical issue on Friday. The aircraft, operated by Iberia, was preparing for taxi when the captain announced a maintenance problem. Pope Leo, who had already boarded, was escorted off the plane by King Felipe and returned to the airport.
