US President Donald Trump has confirmed reports that he called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “f***ing crazy” during a heated phone conversation concerning Israel's military operations in Lebanon. Trump made the admission on the 'Pod Force One' podcast, stating he was 'perturbed' by the ongoing conflict and wanted it stopped, while also asserting that he still maintains a 'very good relationship' with the Israeli leader. The comments follow earlier reports by Axios detailing Trump's anger over planned strikes on Beirut, which he reportedly warned could jeopardize US-Iran negotiations and a regional ceasefire. Hostilities have continued despite a U.S.-mediated agreement announced on Monday that led Israel to step back from attacking Hezbollah-controlled areas, and the group to halt cross-border strikes. Israeli drone strikes killed at least six people in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, while Israel said it intercepted a hostile aircraft likely fired by Hezbollah.
