Longbridge Financial names Morrell VP of product development

Melissa Macerato, chief revenue and marketing officer at Longbridge Financial, stated that Morrell's extensive experience in the reverse mortgage industry provides her with a deep understanding of both homeowner needs and loan officer requirements. Macerato highlighted Morrell's proven ability to transform ideas into scalable products as a key factor in her suitability for the new position.

Morrell has previously contributed to significant Longbridge initiatives, such as the development and launch of HELOC For Seniors and the expansion of the company's proprietary Platinum reverse mortgage portfolio. She has also been involved in advancing sales programs and tools designed to support loan officers, enhance the borrower experience, and strengthen the company's partner network.

With over 20 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services sectors, including nearly nine years as director of sales logistics and development at Reverse Mortgage Funding and prior roles at MetLife, Morrell brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Since joining Longbridge in 2022, she has focused on product innovation, bridging the gap between sales, operations, technology, and compliance teams.
