Armadin, the new cybersecurity startup from Kevin Mandia, the founder of Mandiant, has secured $255.5 million in a Series B funding round, valuing the company at over $2.5 billion. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins, and Menlo Ventures.
This latest funding comes just six months after Armadin raised $190 million in its Series A round in March, bringing its total raised to over $445 million. Armadin's approach reimagines defense testing for the AI era, employing 'always-on agentic swarms' to identify and seal vulnerabilities before malicious actors can exploit them, including rogue AI agents.
