Israeli forces arrested six Palestinians across the occupied West Bank, including a minor, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. The arrests occurred in various locations, including near Nablus and Jenin.
In one incident, Majed Dabas and his 20-year-old son Ahmed were arrested after soldiers raided their home in the Shuweika suburb of Tulkarem. Three other Palestinians, Issam Rasem Abu al-Rub, Khaled Farouq Abu al-Rub, and Hani Abu al-Rub, were arrested from their village of Masliya, in Jenin. Mahmoud Daher Mahmoud Daoud, 17, from Beita, south of Nablus, was also among those arrested.
Separately, Israeli settlers attacked a Bedouin community on the outskirts of Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, stealing several sheep and a tractor, local sources told Wafa. In the Hebron Governorate, occupation forces arrested six Palestinians following an attack by settlers in the Khallat al-Hummus area south of Yatta. Settlers also reportedly destroyed more than 50 olive trees belonging to a Palestinian in Khirbet Janba within the Masafer Yatta area. Occupation forces also set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron.
These events come amid escalating settler attacks in the West Bank. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) documented over 1,600 settler attacks resulting in injuries or property damage between January and August 2026, an average of 6.7 attacks per day, compared to five attacks per day in 2025. Communities in Masafer Yatta have faced repeated demolitions, settler attacks, and movement restrictions.
