Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated on Tuesday that Iran has communicated its conditions to the US for ending the war, but that President Donald Trump has been unable to make a decision. Rezaei described the US president as being "trapped in a quagmire where he can neither negotiate nor wage war." His comments, carried by Iran’s IRIB news during a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, also characterized recent US sanctions on Iranian airlines as an "air blockade" resulting from desperation. The US Treasury has imposed sanctions on 10 individuals and entities it alleges have procured weapons or weapons components for Iran’s Defence Ministry.
