Mohammed Skaf, a notorious gang rapist, has been arrested in Sydney and charged with nearly two dozen alleged drug offences. New South Wales police stated that two men and a woman were arrested and will face court on Thursday for their alleged involvement in a large-scale drug supply scheme. During overnight searches in Sydney's southwest, police seized large quantities of drugs, including cocaine, approximately $245,000 in cash, a vehicle, and other items. Skaf, 42, faces 24 charges, including 22 counts of supplying a prohibited drug, knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime, and knowingly directing activities of a criminal group. He was refused bail and was scheduled to appear before Bankstown Local Court. Skaf was convicted in 2000 for his role in the gang rapes of at least six schoolgirls alongside his brother, Bilal Skaf, and sentenced to 23 years in jail. He was released on parole in 2021, with his sentence expiring in January 2024. The investigation into the alleged drug syndicate is ongoing, with police not ruling out further arrests. Two other individuals, Ahmed Warwar and Winter Egitmeglu, were also arrested and charged with drug supply and participating in a criminal group.
