Sarabia, who was serving as President Gustavo Petro's chief of staff at the time, is accused of ordering police to question her nanny, Marelbys Meza, over the alleged disappearance of several thousand dollars in cash from Sarabia's flat.
According to reports, Meza was taken by Sarabia's driver to an official building opposite the presidential palace, where police officers attached her to a polygraph machine and questioned her about the missing money.
