The acquisition aims to expand CoinMarketCap's coverage of leveraged trading information across major exchanges. Following the deal, CoinGlass will continue to operate under its existing brand, with its team and services, including its website, app, free tools, and API, remaining unchanged. CoinGlass provides data on open interest, funding rates, liquidations, and options for over 2,500 instruments across 28 exchanges. CoinMarketCap stated that this integration will offer its users access to derivatives positioning data, complementing its existing cryptocurrency price information.
