A Chinese court held a hearing on Friday in a defamation case brought by Beijing and Wuhan authorities and institutes against the US state of Missouri over Covid-19 accusations, the Wuhan Intermediate People's Court said in a notice on Monday. The case was jointly filed on April 30, 2025 by the Wuhan government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
