British police announced on Friday that they have charged a 28-year-old man with engaging in conduct in preparation of acts of terrorism. The alleged target included Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform UK party.
Frank Ferguson, a Chief Crown Prosecutor from the Crown Prosecution Service, stated that prosecutors had reviewed the evidence and decided to prosecute Joshua Kerry. Ferguson added that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to court and that prosecutors will continue to work with the police as the investigation progresses.
