Iran launched ballistic missile and drone attacks on Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait following renewed US strikes on targets in Iranian cities. The US strikes targeted five cities in Iran’s Bushehr province, including Asaluyeh and Bushehr city, between 2:45 am and 3:00 am local time. According to Mohammad Mozaffari, the governor of Bushehr, 10 enemy projectiles hit three areas in Bushehr city and one area around Choghadak. No casualties were reported in Iran from these strikes, though previous strikes in Bushehr had destroyed civilian infrastructure near the nuclear power plant. In Qatar, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that falling debris from interception operations injured three people, including a child. Qatar's air defense had intercepted Iranian ballistic missiles above Doha, while the UAE's air defense systems engaged Iranian missiles and drones. Bahrain had previously sounded a siren and urged residents to move to safe places after the US strikes on Iranian cities, which were themselves a retaliation for an IRGC Navy missile attack on a Cyprus-flagged vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. The US stated it had hit a total of 149 military targets across Iran. The IRGC also declared the Strait of Hormuz closed and warned against foreign interference. Kuwait's military stated its air defence forces were working to intercept an ongoing attack on its territory.
