Compass is expanding its presence in northern Arizona, with a particular focus on growing its Flagstaff operations. The brokerage has added veteran real estate professional Shane Randall, who previously worked with Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty, to help lead this expansion. Randall will work alongside Compass' Arizona Sales and Growth Manager, Patrick Clark.
Randall noted that Flagstaff presents a unique market with demand from luxury buyers, those seeking retirement homes, and university-related influences, all within a context of limited housing inventory. He has experience in business, advertising, and internet marketing, and has built his real estate business in Scottsdale's golf and resort communities as well as Flagstaff's luxury mountain-home neighborhoods.
In addition to Randall, Compass has recruited Marie-France Dagenais, who brings over 17 years of luxury real estate experience and is licensed in Arizona and Florida. Kristina Henson, also a former Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty agent and current president of the Northern Arizona Association of Realtors, joined Compass last week. Existing Compass agents Keegan Olson and Chad Dragos will continue to serve clients in the area.
The expansion aligns with continued buyer interest in Flagstaff for luxury, second, and retirement homes. The market also sees demand linked to the local university and faces a constrained housing supply. Compass indicated that buyers often originate from the Phoenix metropolitan area, southern California, and other western states. The brokerage also stated its intention to explore opening a permanent office in northern Arizona.
