Russia's consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.54% in July, a decrease from the 0.87% increase recorded in June, according to data from the state statistics service Rosstat. Annual inflation consequently eased to 5.98% by the end of July, down from 6.02% a month prior. This figure remains above the Bank of Russia's target of 4.0% for 2026.
