A production facility belonging to General Cherry, one of Ukraine's largest drone manufacturers, was damaged in a Russian attack on June 22. Yaroslav Gryshyn, the company's founder, confirmed the incident on Facebook, stating that while the facility was hit, all employees were unharmed and the company is assessing the extent of the damage. Gryshyn expressed determination, saying, "The enemy will not succeed in stopping us."
Founded in September 2023, General Cherry has rapidly grown into a significant player in Ukraine's defense sector since the full-scale Russian invasion. The company manufactures the Bullet interceptor drone and numerous FPV models. Earlier in May, General Cherry introduced its new mid-range strike drone, Khmarynka, designed to carry larger payloads and operate at greater ranges than typical FPV drones, positioning it as a response to Russia's Molniya drone.
