A 61-year-old Swedish man has been sentenced to four years and five months in prison for coercing his wife into providing sexual services to more than 120 men. The court found he had controlled her through threats of violence and security cameras, and was convicted of attempted rape, aggravated pimping, assault, and unlawful threats. The case, which drew international attention, involved the man forcing his wife into sex with men who traveled to their secluded farm in exchange for payment starting in 2022, until she reported him to police in October 2025. The court dismissed eight counts of rape and three of attempted rape, citing uncertainty about the wife's participation being involuntary in some cases. Additionally, 28 of 29 men charged with purchasing sexual services were convicted, with two receiving prison sentences and the rest receiving suspended sentences or probation. The man was ordered to pay his wife 200,000 krona (£15,900) in damages.
