The Georgia Bulldogs women and Arkansas Razorbacks men successfully defended their titles at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships on Saturday night.
Georgia became the fifth school to win back-to-back outdoor championships, also winning the indoor title this season. The Bulldogs finished with 50 points, ahead of Florida (43) and Arkansas (38). Georgia's Adaejah Hodge won the 200-meter race in a NCAA-record 21.68 seconds, and Dejanea Oakley set a collegiate record in the 400 meters with a time of 48.79 seconds. Sanu Jallow-Lockhart of Arkansas won the women’s 800 meters in a collegiate-record 1:56.85 and anchored the second fastest 4x400 relay in history.
Alabama's Doris Lemngole claimed her sixth national championship by winning the women’s 5,000 meters in 15:11.71. Sofia Cosculluela won the heptathlon with 6,182 points for Washington. Oregon's Aaliyah McCormick became the first repeat champion in the 100 hurdles in 18 years, winning in 12.47 seconds. Clemson's Shantae Foreman won the triple jump.

Georgia's Kimani Jack won the high jump, and the Bulldogs secured the men's 4x400 relay by a narrow margin. Alabama's Samuel Ogazi set a collegiate record in the men's 400 meters with a winning time of 43.38 seconds. Northern Arizona's Colin Sahlman won the men's 800 meters, and Auburn's Kanyinsola Ajayi won the men's 100 meters.
