Nara Organics has initiated a nationwide recall of its organic baby formula, which was sold at Target stores across the United States. This action follows a multistate outbreak of infant botulism linked to the product. Three infants, aged between 2 and 5 months, have been hospitalized as a result of consuming the contaminated formula.
In a separate food safety alert, The Coffee Connexion Co. has voluntarily recalled its Alfredo sauce. This recall, classified as a Class I by the FDA, is the most serious type of recall and affects the product sold in 41 states. The potential contamination stems from a dry milk powder ingredient used in the sauce, which may contain Salmonella.
