The research, conducted by Icelandic outdoor clothing brand Icewear, examined 54,000 reviews from 75 global natural sights, focusing on positive descriptors like "relaxing," "amazing," and "beautiful" to gauge perceived value.
The Hoh Rain Forest, located within Olympic National Park, received 69.6% positive reviews, attributed to its dense canopy, high rainfall, and hiking opportunities. Following closely were Crater Lake in Oregon, with 68.5% positive reviews for its deep blue waters and recreational activities, and the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Centre in Alaska, which garnered 67.2% positive feedback for its icy landscapes and wildlife.
Europe had five destinations in the top 30, with Staffa National Nature Reserve in Scotland, home to Fingal's Cave, ranking fourth globally and highest in Europe with 62.8% positive reviews.
